UN NGO Youth Coordinator
The UN NGO Youth coordinator would be a member of the UN NGO Team and would report directly to the UN NGO Director. The job is a new job and would entail among other duties:
- Encouraging kids and teens to participate in local FAWCO service projects.

Helping to design a NGO webpage for kids showing on how they can get involved in world affairs.
- Promoting the participation of FAWCO clubs in Treat or Treat for UNICEF at local Halloween parties.
- Establishing an annual FAWCO UN NGO essay contest for teens on UN issues.
- Promoting local Mother/Daughter teas on UN issues such as women’s rights to encourage young girls to get involved in international social justice issues.
- Promoting the involvement of girls in the Eleanor Roosevelt Girl’s Leadership Workshop.
- Keen interest in world affairs and current events.
- Good internet and social media skills.
- Enjoyment of working with and for teens.
- Plenty of imagination and ideas on how to interest children in foreign affairs.
