PR Manager - please contact
The Public Relations Manager issues press releases, maintains a database of media contacts and monitors media outlets for FAWCO's name in the news. The PR Manager is part of the Communications team and reports to 1st VP Communications.
Newsletter Layout Editor - please contact
The FORUM, FAWCO's official printed newsletter, is published twice a year on June 1 and December 1. The Layout Editor receives already edited materials one month before publication date and designs the newsletter in a layout software of her choice (In-Design has been used in the last 4 years). This job is time intensive for about 4 weeks out of the year and is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for someone who is a graphics designer or would like to develop these skills.
REGIONAL COORDINATORS - please contact
There is currently a need for a Regional Coordinator (RC) in Region 10 (South America, the Caribbean). A Regional Coordinator plans the annual regional meeting, working together with the hosting club. She assists the 2nd VP for Member Clubs in communicating with, supporting and motivating the FAWCO Reps in her region. She also actively identifies potential clubs in her region and supports Membership in recruitment. An RC should live in the region and is a member of a FAWCO club in the region.

Sharing Cultures Team Chair - The Sharing Cultures Committee supports FAWCO Member Clubs in their efforts to promote mutual understanding and awareness of customs, cultural differences, and local environments in order to bridge the gaps that exist between nations and different populations. The committee shares FAWCO Member Club programs or activities that help Club members, their families, and/or the local community learn from one another.
Ending Violence against Women and Children Co-Chair - Ending Violence Against Women and Children Team addresses various aspects of gender-based violence such as domestic violence, trafficking, gendercide, forced and early marriage, female genital cutting, and women in conflict zones. The goal of the Committee is to increase awareness and empower those women and children affected.
US Tax & Banking Co-Chair - U.S. Tax & Banking Committee gathers information on U.S. tax and banking legislation and informs the membership of their U.S. tax and banking responsibilities. It also collects information from the FAWCO membership on specific tax- and banking-related problems and brings these to the attention of legislators in Washington.
Voting from Overseas Co-Chair - U.S. Voting from Overseas Committee encourages and assists U.S. overseas citizens to participate in federal elections every two years by providing information and training to volunteers in FAWCO Member Clubs, and helping with publicity. This committee also works to reduce the barriers to voting from overseas imposed by federal and state legislation.
Archives Committee Chair - ideally, the Archives Chair woud live centrally in Europe and has the possibility for storage of FAWCO's physical archives in her city.
