I know every day has 24 hours and every week 7 days so why is it that November and December seem to just disppear at lightening speed? 2011 will be here before you know it. The FAWCO Foundation has been very busy trying to provide your Clubs with the programs you want. We accomplish this with the generosity of our FAWCO Clubs and their members. The programs are created for YOUR charitable causes, YOUR children, YOUR further education and projects that are important to YOU. Please be sure to get your applications in for the DGs and Education Awards by the January deadlines.
The Foundation is very excited about othe FAWCO Target Water Project. You, the Clubs, have chosen Wells for Clean Water as the recipient for our 2 year fundraising project. With each well costing about $100, I suspect that FAWCO will make a huge impact on the lives of many Cambodians!
We've had a wonderful start on our cruise raffle tickets but we want to sell all 250. Wouldn't the winning ticket be a fabulous stocking stuffer? Details below.
I wish you all a very happy holiday season wherever you may be celebrating.

![Target Program logo](http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs052/1102629324047/img/19.png) Here is a great article for your club's newsletter from National Geographic, "10 Things You Can Do To Conserve Water."
Water is the basis of life, and on this planet only a tiny share less than one percent of all water is available for nearly 7 billion people and a myriad of freshwater aquatic ecosystems. It's that tiny share of freshwater that we have to use to meet all of our needs irrigation, industry, drinking water, and sanitation-and the needs of thousands, if not millions, of other species that we share the planet with.![waterheart](http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs052/1102629324047/img/96.jpg)
The average American lifestyle demands 1,800 gallons a day to support, with 70 percent of that going to support our diets. If each of us learned how to conserve just a little more water, it could add up to big savings. National Geographic's Freshwater Fellow, Sandra Postel, offers10 things you can do to start conserving water. Share this article with your club in your next newsletter!
