Suffering that Leads to Hope

Suffering, Perseverance and Hope

by Danielle Kuznetsov

As we head into the last months of 2022, life in all its glory and pain keeps us moving forward step by step. Sometimes it might seem easier to give up. But when you hear about people you know overcoming obstacles, life seems to brighten a bit. The FAWCO Health Team presents two short conversations for your edification.

Friends, please enjoy a cup of tea with Rachel Frecka and her son, Charlie. The Frecka family was displaced from their lives in Moscow this past spring once the war in Ukraine began. They are now back in the US in the great state of Texas and adjusting to life on the other side of the pond. Rachel speaks on grief, hope and gratitude. Charlie Frecka is a musician and producer, and his latest songs grew out of pain. “Homesick,” “Selfish,” “Doubts” and “Someday” tell the story of pain, loss, and figuring out a path to move forward.
