One Member Receives Award for Commitment to Help
My name is Vera Busch and I am an American who has been a member of the AWCD since 1973.
I co-founded and am President of a registered, non-profit, charitable organization. Pro Ukraine e.V., which supports a school in Ukraine through funds raised ongoing. Ukraine is a young European country that needs help from the West in building up its democracy. As a former high school teacher, my experience has shown me that it is worthwhile to invest in children’s futures through education. The quality of education a child receives is the key to a bright future.
