FAWCO is going on tour! A virtual tour of our 60 member clubs and our Target Project partner, Hope for Girls and Women, Tanzania. Starting on June 1st, and for the next 300 days, FAWCO members are invited to join in a fitness mission to journey 36,659.8 miles from the AWC London to the United States. Along the way, we will get to know our clubs and members, sharing fun facts and photos as we go. We hope that you will find new ways to challenge yourself and your FAWCO friends to set and achieve your own fitness goals, and hopefully, raise some money for our 2020-22 Target Project: S.A.F.E. (Safe Alternatives for FGM Elimination).
We have set up this challenge through My Virtual Mission. To participate, you will need to create an account and sign up for The FAWCO Virtual Tour. If you use a fitness app &/or a smartphone, you can connect it to our challenge to add your activities directly and automatically to our FAWCO Team total and help move us along the route. If you don't have a smartphone, no problem — you can manually enter your distances when logged into The FAWCO Virtual Tour mission page. Whether you move a little or train a lot, many feet will make light work of this distance.
FAWCO and The FAWCO Foundation will be sponsoring the first 200 participants so those who sign up early can participate without any financial commitment. You will be given the opportunity to sponsor our Target Project at any time through the site, particularly if you set yourself or your club or region a challenge.
