Attend and Promote US Voting Town Hall

Every vote countsSeptember 4, 19:00 CET on Zoom

Before you go on holiday, sign up to join us at FAWCO’s virtual US Voting Town Hall on Wednesday, September 4 at 19:00 CET – and help us promote the event. Early September is a crucial time for overseas voters to make sure that they:

    1. have registered to vote/requested a ballot; and
    2. have time to send it back to their local election official to be counted.

Spread the word to your US-citizen friends and family! Both FAWCO members and non-members are welcome to attend this Town Hall.

Register in advance for this meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAtfumoqj4uG9VUO_Ny6VKIWWzWmBcRulBS

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Speakers include Carolina Ardón Ayala, Special Consular Services Chief, U.S. Embassy London; Kayla Paulson, Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) and Mary Stewart Burgher, Chair of FAWCO’s US Voting Committee.

We will briefly review the mechanics of voting in the US from overseas in 2024, including any changes to procedures that may affect you and what to do if you encounter problems with your voting. We’ll talk about how overseas voters can help to preserve US democracy and learn about FVAP’s work to support and represent overseas voters, and conclude with a Q&A session.

If you are an American, please attend; if you are a FAWCO member, please spread the word!
