News You Can Use                                                                   November 2011

Dear Michele,

'Tis The Season of Giving

We make a living by what we get,
we make a life by what we give. Winston Churchill

This year, with much uncertainty in the world, instead of giving "stuff," help create a positive force and give a gift that improves lives. Give the opportunity to further a young women's education or the chance for a family to become self-sufficient through access to clean water. The Foundation works with amazing organizations everyday, and through your generosity we are that positive changing force.
Here are some gift ideas with lasting benefits:
  • Help a young women in Burkina Faso further her education by giving a Donation Certificate to the NEEED Scholarship Program. Click here to see the beautiful faces of current recipients.
  • One Family Well can help multiple families access clean water for a kitchen garden, cooking, drinking and hygiene. The cost of $150 seems so minor when compared to the gift of helping a family gain their independence. Give a Donation Certificate for One Family Well or for an amount of your choice.
  • Most likely this year you will be giving other things as well, in that case you can support The Foundation by using iGive when you shop online. There is no additional cost to you and it couldn't be any easier. Simple click here for a direct link. Every time you shop at one of over 900 stores, those stores will be donating to The Foundation.
